We are fortunate to live in a community surrounded by natural beauty and

Sandpoint sits at the northern edge of Lake Pend Oreille. The
glacially formed lake is 65 miles long and, in places, 1,150 feet deep making it the 5th deepest lake in the
United States. It is home to a variety of fish and provides the perfect setting for any type of
water activity from sailing to water skiing.
In the winter, Schweitzer Mountain Resort takes
center stage with nearly 3,000 acres of skiable terrain and a vertical drop of 2,400 feet. It offers terrain
for all levels of skiers, beginner to expert, and plenty of support facilities to take care of you
when the sun goes down.
